WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT?

1) Quick intake + goal check-in. We’ll review what’s going on, what you’re noticing in your body, and what you want to improve.

2) Personalized treatment: Your session is tailored to your needs that day. Needling is gentle, and most people feel minimal discomfort.

3) Relaxation time. You’ll rest comfortably while your body responds. Many patients feel deeply calm.

4) Aftercare guidance, you’ll leave with simple recommendations to support results between visits.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?

Some people feel improvement after 1–2 sessions, especially with recent issues. For chronic or long-standing conditions, results are typically best with a short series of treatments. We’ll recommend a realistic plan based on your goals and how your body responds.

SAFETY + COMFORT

Sterile, single-use needles are always used. • Treatments are customized to your health history, medications, and comfort level. • Electro-acupuncture is not used for patients with pacemakers (and we modify care when needed). • Pregnancy-safe acupuncture is available with appropriate modifications.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does acupuncture hurt? Most patients feel little to nothing. You may notice a brief pinch, heaviness, warmth, or tingling—this is normal.

How long is the visit? Plan for about 45–60 minutes depending on the type of session and what we’re treating.

Can I do facial acupuncture if I’ve had Botox or fillers? Often yes. We’ll review timing and your goals and choose the best approach for you.

 How Can Traditional Acupuncture Help?

Acupuncture is a safe, natural therapy that helps reduce pain, calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and support your body’s ability to heal.

People commonly come in for support with:

• Neck, shoulder, back, hip, and knee pain

• Muscle tightness, stiffness, and inflammation

• Headaches and migraines

• Stress, anxiety, and sleep disruption

• Digestive discomfort and bloating

• Hormone-related symptoms and cycle support

• Recovery support (strain, overuse, post-activity soreness)

Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is a modern technique that enhances traditional acupuncture using gentle electrical stimulation between needles. It allows for deeper and more consistent activation of specific points.

This approach is commonly used for chronic pain, muscle tightness, nerve-related discomfort, and injury recovery. The stimulation is mild, controlled, and designed to improve circulation and reduce pain signals.

 What is Facial Acupuncture For?

Facial acupuncture is a natural, non-invasive treatment that supports skin health from the inside out. It helps improve circulation and lymphatic flow, which can reduce puffiness and support a brighter, healthier-looking complexion.

Facial acupuncture may help soften the appearance of fine lines, improve tone, and release jaw or facial tension. It also includes body points when needed, because skin health is tied to stress, digestion, sleep, and circulation.

Best for: puffiness, dull tone, fine lines, tension, and overall skin vitality.
