Overview
BioSōm® provides 5 mg of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) per 0.7 mL serving in a liposomal liquid. DHEA is a steroid hormone precursor that can be converted into androgens and estrogens. It should be treated as a hormone-active supplement rather than a general “anti-aging” or adrenal-wellness product.
 
Evidence Note
DHEA supplementation reliably raises DHEA-S and can affect downstream sex-hormone levels. Human studies report benefits for selected outcomes in some populations, but results are inconsistent and do not support routine use in healthy adults without a clinical reason and appropriate oversight.

Suggested Use
Shake well before using. Fill dropper to 0.7 mL. Take by mouth 1–4 times daily in divided doses, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
 
Important Safety Considerations
Not for use by individuals under 18 years of age.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Use only with clinician oversight if you have a personal or family history of prostate cancer, prostate enlargement, heart disease, low HDL cholesterol, or a hormone-sensitive cancer.
Potential adverse effects can include acne, hair loss, facial hair growth in women, irritability, and increased estrogen levels.
Stop use and contact a clinician for rapid heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, or similar concerning symptoms.
