KBMO Food Inflammation Test (FIT176)

Functional Food Reactivity & Gut Health Assessment

Digestive symptoms, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, skin irritation, and inflammatory symptoms are often influenced by more than one factor. At Acutrition, we use advanced functional testing to help identify patterns that may be contributing to ongoing inflammation and digestive dysfunction.

The KBMO FIT Test is a functional assessment designed to evaluate delayed immune reactivity and inflammatory burden associated with foods and gut-related immune activation.

This testing may be helpful for individuals experiencing:
• Bloating and digestive discomfort
• Gas or irregular bowel movements
• Chronic inflammation
• Brain fog or fatigue
• Skin irritation
• Joint discomfort
• Food-triggered symptoms
• Persistent gut-related symptoms

WHAT THE TEST EVALUATES

Food Immune Reactivity
The FIT Test evaluates delayed immune reactivity patterns associated with foods using multiple immune pathways, including IgG and immune-complex activity.

Gut Barrier & Inflammatory Markers
The panel may also provide additional insight into gut-related immune activation associated with:
• Zonulin
• Occludin
• LPS (bacterial endotoxin markers)
• Candida-related immune reactivity

These markers are associated with gut barrier integrity, immune activation, and inflammatory patterns when interpreted alongside symptoms and clinical context.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

This is not a food allergy test.

This testing does not diagnose:
• Food allergies
• Candida overgrowth
• “Leaky gut”
• Autoimmune disease
• Gastrointestinal disease

Instead, it is used as a functional tool to help identify patterns that may contribute to inflammatory burden, digestive dysfunction, and food-related symptom patterns.

At Acutrition, results are never interpreted in isolation. Testing is reviewed alongside:
• Symptoms
• Digestion and bowel patterns
• Blood work
• HTMA mineral analysis
• Nutrition and lifestyle factors
• Clinical response over time

OUR APPROACH

The goal is not fear-based dieting or long-term food restriction.

Our focus is to:
• Reduce inflammatory burden
• Improve digestion
• Support gut balance
• Stabilize blood sugar
• Support the microbiome
• Improve nutrient absorption
• Restore overall function

Many patients improve significantly by addressing:
• Digestion
• Bowel regularity
• Blood sugar stability
• Mineral balance
• Inflammatory foods
• Sleep and stress patterns

HOW RESULTS ARE USED

Depending on your results and symptoms, recommendations may include:
• Temporary food elimination
• Structured food reintroduction
• Digestive support
• Fiber and motility support
• Blood sugar stabilization
• Gut-supportive nutrition
• Mineral repletion
• Targeted supplementation when clinically appropriate

Testing is always interpreted conservatively and within the context of your overall health picture.

WHO MAY BENEFIT

This testing may be appropriate for individuals with:
• Chronic bloating
• Persistent digestive symptoms
• Food-triggered symptoms
• Chronic inflammation
• Skin flare-ups
• Brain fog or fatigue
• Suspected inflammatory food patterns
• Ongoing gut dysfunction despite dietary changes

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

The KBMO FIT Test is a functional wellness assessment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Results should be interpreted alongside symptoms, medical history, and clinical evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider.
