Psyllium Husk 700 mg

by NOW Foods

A convenient soluble-fiber supplement designed to support bowel regularity, digestive health, and healthy cholesterol levels when used consistently with adequate fluid intake.

Supports

  • Digestive / Gut Health
  • Healthy Bowel Regularity
  • Heart & Cardiovascular Health
  • Daily Fiber Intake

Overview

NOW Foods Psyllium Husk provides 1,400 mg of psyllium husk per 2-capsule serving, together with 100 mg of apple pectin. Psyllium is a viscous, gel-forming soluble fiber that absorbs water and increases stool bulk, helping support normal bowel regularity.

Evidence Note

Human clinical evidence supports psyllium as a fiber supplement for bowel regularity and constipation support. Clinical trials also support psyllium for modest LDL- and non-HDL-cholesterol reduction when used regularly at effective daily fiber intakes. Many lipid studies used substantially more psyllium per day than a single 2-capsule serving of this product.
