The Big One® Plus without Iron is a once-daily multivitamin/mineral designed for adults who want broad micronutrient coverage without added iron. Compared with the standard iron-free version, the Plus formula provides a higher amount of vitamin D3.
Evidence Note
Daily multivitamin/mineral supplementation can help improve micronutrient intake and nutritional status when diet alone does not fully meet needs. In large randomized COSMOS substudies of older adults, daily multivitamin/mineral use was associated with modestly better global cognition and episodic memory over follow-up. These findings support broad nutritional use rather than disease-treatment claims.

Important Safety Considerations
- Review total vitamin D intake from all supplements and use clinician-guided testing when appropriate.
- Contains iodine and vitamin K; review use with your clinician when thyroid disease or medication interactions are relevant.
- Minerals in multivitamins can interfere with absorption of certain medications; dose separation may be needed.
- An MTHFR result alone does not establish a need for methylated B-vitamin supplementation.
