Each berry-flavored lozenge provides 5,000 mcg of methylcobalamin. Vitamin B12 is required for DNA synthesis, normal red blood cell production, neurologic function, and methionine/homocysteine metabolism.

Vitamin B12 replacement is well established when deficiency or malabsorption is present.
